Lesserlight

No more talking to nothing.

Lesserlight lights every edge of every screen while Wispr Flow is listening. Dark edges mean nothing is being heard, so you know before you say a word.

Good to know

Is it private?

Lesserlight records nothing and sends nothing off your Mac. What Wispr Flow does with your voice is between you and Wispr Flow.

What permissions does it need?

None that touch audio. It never asks for the microphone; it only sees whether your dictation app has it open. macOS will mention that it added a login item, so it starts with your Mac.

Does it work with more than one display?

Yes. Every display glows, and it keeps up when you plug a screen in or take one away. It shows over full-screen apps too.

Does it work with other dictation apps?

Yes. Lesserlight also glows for Handy and Superwhisper. In Handy, leave Always‑on microphone off, or the glow stays on.

Can I buy on my phone?

Yes. Pay on your phone and the download link comes by email, ready for your Mac. No account needed.

What happens after I pay?

You go straight to the download page. Drag Lesserlight into Applications, open it once, and from then on it glows whenever Wispr Flow listens.

Say it once.
